Mt. Kailash in Tibet being the destination of this trek,
the journey through Humla, Nepal’s highest and northernmost remote district is also culturally and scenically
rewarding. As this area covered by this treks
encompasses two countries and numerous ethnic groups and
religion most places have two names.
This trek begins from Simikot (Humla), crossing
high alpine meadows ridges. The route descends to the Tibetan
boarder and we drive to Mt. Kailash through the barren
Tibetan plateau. End of this trip could be at Simikot or
at Zhangmu.
