This trek takes the trekkers up to Nagpa la at the border with Tibet which is a very remote area.  This Pass is the path Tibetan traders have used for centuries to enter the Khumbu. Tibetan traders still take this route over the Himalayas driving the caravans of yak laden with goods to sell at Namche Bazaar.  A particularly beautiful time to explore this region is at the end of monsoon when wild flowers decorate the typically barren Nangpala in a sea of color.  Observing the Tibetan caravans, the area's remoteness, gazing at the biggest glaciers in  the Khumbu region, and spectacular views of Mt. Everest and Mt. Cho Oyo are the spectacular highlights of this trek. The newly opened Renjo Pass crossing between Gokyo and Nangpala is a breathtakingly beautiful walk offering impressive views of Mt. Everest.

Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Hotel.
Day 02: City tour of Kathmandu. Hotel.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla then trek to Phakding. O/N at camp.
Day 04: Trek to Namche. O/N at camp.
Day 05: Namche Rest day. O/N at camp.
Day 06: Trek to Thame. O/N at camp.
Day 07: Thame Acclimatization. O/N at camp.
Day 08: Trek to Maruling. O/N at camp.
Day 09: Trek to Sumna Phug. O/N at camp.
Day 10: Trek to Lunag. O/N at Camp.
Day 11: Trek to Sumna. O/N at camp.
Day 12: Trek to Tsorelmo. O/N at camp.
Day 13: Trek to Gokyo via Rencho pass. O/N at camp.
Day 14: Trek to Phortse. O/N at camp.
Day 15: Trek to Thyanbuche. O/N at camp.
Day 16: Trek to Namche. O/N in camp.
Day 17: Trek to Phakdingma. O/N at camp.
Day 18: Trek to Lukla (2850m). O/N at camp.
Day 19: Fly Lukla/Kathmandu. O/N at hotel.
Day 20: City sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. O/N at hotel.
Day 21: Transfer to airport for onward destination.
