Just returned from a wonderful trek to Everest BC, Kala Patthar and Island Peak. Lhakpa & team, your care and support – even before landing in KTM and until the departure lounge at the airport 3 weeks later – was amazing, precise and friendly. Just ticking like a swiss watch! Looking forward to our next encounter, this time hopefully a bit higher.

I met Lhakpa in Lukkla and was impressed from the very first moment. He was of big help by the rescue mission in the Everest region. The rescue was difficult and 8 Sherpas were needed before a helicopter from Fishtail Air was able to operate and fly to KTM (read more on: http://www.expedition.toptotop.org/ ). On the helm was Gerold Biner from Air Zerrmatt and on the longline Bruno Jelk also Zermatt. It was good to know that there was Lhakpa in KTM with all the skill, knowledge, humantarian support and specially great heart that is needed to fullfill all the wishes of reltives and second parties involved.
Tonight we have dinner with him and his lovely wife and children. I am sure it is the start of a longtime friendship between the two families.

Finally, We have unpacked, breezing the air of Japan taking sushi and sleeping on tatami these making us so relax, home sweet home !!
We realy appresiate all you have down upon ous when we have serious altetude illnes at Gorak Shep.
We believe that because of your assistance and informative addvaice we could back to Japan safty.
Such a serious illnes was the first time for us to have.
We never know the illnes is so dengerous and fetal.
Just 10 minutes flight of helicopter down to rukula, increditably wipeoff all our physical psychological worry so quickly. It’s a magic! Your advaice and desigion was absolutly right.
Soon Japan will have rainy season for a month and then summer comes.
We are really looking for back to HIMARAYA soon, and we already have the plan of climbing 8,000M mountein in HIMARAYA next year. At the time or before that we like to see you again.
If you have a chance come to the Japan or if you have something to do in Japan, please let us know to make ourself be honer to return your complement.
